I want to take a minute to extend a bit of gratitude to you and your team during the testing at our project here in Hawaii last week. It was unfortunate that we needed the testing done, however, we were lucky to have your group of guys here to overcome the many obstacles we encountered daily. I know there were a few different proposals sent into my office from different vendors, I can't begin to say how thankful I was that we picked the correct company to conduct the testing.
At many different points, the testing could have went south real quick. The unforeseeable events (extreme high winds, lack of power source, low water pressure, swing stage issues, etc, etc.) were all overcome because of QED's ability to work as a team with my associates in the field.

"Fry Reglet was asked to produce test data supporting the use of their 2 piece control joint and how the effects of rain and wind would affect the performance of the component under simulated weather conditions. We felt the most appropriate test method was ASTM 331 "Standard Test for Water Penetration for Exterior Windows, Skylights, Doors and Curtain Walls, by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference".
We contacted Mike at Q.E.D Laboratories and explained what we needed to test. Since there was no standard apparatus for performing this test, Mike and his group designed and fabricated a device that not only would perform the test required, but would allow for a group of components (system) to be tested at the same time. Additionally, the device allowed for viewing of the test from the back side which provided for the collection of additional data.
As a result of Q.E.D.'s Laboratories efforts, Fry Reglet obtained all of the data required in a short period of time, with minimal supervision, and at a reasonable cost. We would certainly recommend Q.E.D. to anyone that requires R & D testing or investigative work."

Q.E.D. provided our third-party water penetration testing for curtain wall, punch window, and storefront glazing systems at two recently constructed healthcare facilities.
The testing schedule was extremely tight as Q.E.D. was brought in at the end of the project. The Q.E.D. team made simple what seemed would be an inevitably difficult situation. Q.E.D worked with us to diagnose testing failures and even provided helpful suggestions for how we might correct the issues. I felt confident that with Q.E.D. on board we would be able to diagnose any problem, remediate any problem, and pass all testing requirements. And we did just that.
